The Opus Bonum competition section presents the most notable international documentary titles. This year the competition’s sole juror, French editor Claire Atherton, will pick one title out of a total of 16 films from thirteen countries, six of which are world premieres.
Between the Seas, a competition section composed of the best documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe will offer 14 titles, seven of which are world premieres, while Czech Joy competition section boasts 13 titles on various politically and socially charged topics.
The festival will focus this year on Turkey and will present the documentary work of Eric Rohmer. Viktor Kossakovsky, Thomas A. Østbye, Thomas Hellum and Lordan Zafranovič will hold masterclasses.
