South Korean TV Series Wraps Shooting in Karlovy Vary

KARLOVY VARY: More than 100-member South Korean crew shot on two episodes of the TV series Are You Human Too? in Karlovy Vary. The family drama with sci-fi elements starring popular Korean actor and singer So Kang-jun is directed by Cha Young-hoon and is produced for KBS TV.

Two episodes of the 18-part series are set directly in Karlovy Vary, which is presented as itself. Shooting took place from 31 August to 6 September 2017.

The series is produced by Monster Union, with Axman production servicing. Karlovy Vary Film Office helped filmmakers with choosing locations in the region.

This is the second South Korean film shot in the Czech Republic after the famous drama Lovers in Prague (2005, directed by Shin Woo Chul and produced by Olive 9 for SBS TV), which highly contributed to the boom of Korean tourism in the Czech Republic.
