Skylink already had approximately one million subscribers in the Czech Republic and almost 600,000 subscribers in Slovakia, and Filmbox has recently gained an additional 200,000 subscribers on cable and IPTV networks in the Czech Republic.

FilmBox is owned by SPI International, a global media company operating 30 TV channels. The SPI/FilmBox group of channels in CEE, Turkey and Africa includes the popular KinoPolska channels in Poland, which has been a coproducer of a number of Polish and international films.
