The festival took place from 15 to 23 March 2018, offering 445 screenings and 170 titles divided into 15 sections.

Ten debut and sophomore films competed in the New Europe competition.

At the closing ceremony on 22 March 2018, Catherine Deneuve and Leos Carax received Kristián Lifetime Achievement Awards. Special guests of this year´s festival also included Arnaud Desplechin and Charles Aznavour.
