The first two days of the market, known at the Baltic Event, will be devoted to works from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In all, sixteen new films and works-in-progress will be screened from the Baltic regions, Finland, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Baltics, Russia, Central-Asia and South-Caucus.
The Black Market Online, which launches on 1 December, will allow film professionals to watch films online and access additional information including film industry contacts, country overviews about film industries, new coming-soon and lineups and new films from the North East European regions.
A Baltic Coproduction Market will present 12 projects from across the CEE region, including four projects from Russia and the Ukraine, a new addition this year.
A literary rights market takes place on 2 December, with 12 books from Nordic and CEE countries selected for presentations.
