BUDAPEST: The Hungarian National Media Authority awarded 64m HUF in grants for animation films. All of the seven new productions will be broadcast first on Magyar Televízió.
In 2013 the Authority distributed a total of 180m HUF for animation films.
In announcing the grants, Tamás Kollarik, a member NMHH said that 180m HUF will be allocated for supporting animation productions in Hungary in 2014. He added that NMHH will have a budget of 330m HUF for funding documentaries and 250m HUF for science film productions.
