BALATONFÜRED: The jury of the Hungarian Film Academy chaired by István Márta chose Ravine / Hasadék by Balázs Krasznahorkai as the best feature film at the Hungarian Motion Picture Awards, which were given out in 20 categories at the Anna Grand Hotel in Balatonfüred on 26 June 2021.

The ceremony was the closing event of the first Hungarian Motion Picture Festival, which replaced the Hungarian Film Week and moved to the Veszprém-Balaton region. The event was organised by the National Film Institute - Hungary together with the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 – European Capital of Culture programme, and presented 89 films in four categories over four days (23 – 26 June 2021) in three cities at a total of eight venues.
