Wolf competed in the European dramatic features category against 12 other films. The 71-minute film is set in a small Siberian village and tells the dreamlike story of a man who is believed to speak the language of animals. It premiered in Hungary at the 38th Hungarian Film Week in 2007.
Toth told the Hungarian news agency MTI that his film was very well received by Italian, American and Serbian colleagues during the festival, and that strong interest was expressed for distribution in the UK.
The European Independent Film Festival was established in 2006 to help promote European independent filmmakers internationally.
