Pal Adrienn had already won many international prizes over the past 12 months including the FNE Visegrad prize for best international coproduction. The 42 edition of HFW was held from 5-8 May 2011 and screened new Hungarian features, docs, animation, TV films and shorts. Traditionally held in February as a showcase for all new Hungarian production the event was delayed due to funding problems and its future is still in doubt as the Hungarian film industry is in the process of a major restructuring.
