The film, produced by Latvia’s Film Studio DEVINI, where Kolmane is the creative director, and coproduced by the Prague based post-production house Magiclab, Masterfilm (Czech Republic), Lithuania’s Studija 2, received support from the National Film Centre of Latvia, the State Culture Capital Foundation of Latvia, the Czech Film Fund, the National Film Centre of Lithuania and private funders via a crowdfunding campaign. It will have its international premiere in the Baltic Competition at the Black Nights Film Festival.
As expected, the awards were distributed across a range of films, with competition stronger this year as a result of special film funding to mark the Latvian centennial.
