In the opening weekend Class Reunion got 11,340 admissions, which is the second best figure in recent years for a local film, preceded by another Platforma Filma production The Pagan King by Aigars Grauba.
However, the biggest multiplex in Latvia Forum Cinemas refused to screen the film after it had a limited PVOD (premium video on demand) release online before the theatrical release.
The film was released by Latvian Theatrical Distribution on 14 February 2019.
The remake of the Danish film The Reunion was previously a hit in the other Baltic countries. In Estonia it had almost 190,000 admissions in 2016 and became the most viewed film since the country regained its independence.
