Beinoriute worked as a camerawoman with internationally famous director Sarunas Bartas (Seven Invisible Men, 2005) and later she created the documentary Vulkanovka, exploring life in the town where Seven Invisible Men was shot. It was awarded with "Best Debut" prize of the Union of Lithuanian Filmmakers and Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.
Beinoriute's films distinguish themselves through jokes, irony and well-told stories. Her latest film focuses on the Soviet-dominated atmosphere in the Lithuanian province of Trakai in 1980. The main characters are a 10-year-old girl, Elzbieta Degutyte, and a boy of the same age, Karolis Savickis, who strike up a friendship from their balconies.
The film is produced by Jurga Gluskiniene of Film Studio Monoklis and received support from the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.
