The jury composed of film and theatre actress Verica Nedeska, film professor and theoretician Alexandra Nakelski and Brigitta Manthey, advisor for film funding at Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, selected Bergman`s debut out of eight films in the Official Selection.
Marysia Nikitiuk won the best director award for When the Trees Fall (Ukraine, Poland, Macedonia) and Stefan Lukacs aka Istvan received the best screenplay award for Cops (Austria). Ana By Day (Spain) directed by Andrea Jaurrieta received a special mention.
The Kosovan drama The Marriage by Blerta Zeqiri was named best out of the six films in the CineBalkan competition. A special mention in this selection was given to Montenegro`s director Aleksa Stefan Radunovic for his film Lazy Guy / Lijenština. The jury consisted of director and writer Izer Aliu, Slovene/French actress and performer Inti Šraj and Turkish producer and writer Servan Güney.
The student film award went to Drive, A Poem for My Father by Irena Gatej from the University of Nova Gorica. In collaboration with Giffoni Macedonia Youth Film Festival, the Young film award went to the Turkish film Arada by Mu Tunc.
