The number amounts to almost 1.5 admissions per capita.
Five domestic films were released in Malta. According to data released, one of the most popular films was Simshar (Kukumajsa Productions Ltd), a debut film directed by Rebecca Cremona. In general, domestic films have the highest per film attendance, with 851 films released in total.
The country has 35 screens and 6,784 seats. In 2014, 78 percent of screens were digitalized.
