The Malta Film Commission announced that the series recently completed five months of shooting at locations around Malta. The production also built numerous sets for the series.

An unnamed Italian TV production for RAI is due to begin filming in Malta within the next few weeks. The Minister for Tourism, Dr. Edward Zammit Lewis, responsible for the film industry, called this an example of diversification, with the film industry bringing in high end TV projects and big budget commercials, as well as feature film productions.
