Mediterranean Film Studios' Water TanksVALLETTA: Speaking at a public event, the Malta Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis said that the government will be seeking investors for the Malta Film Studios.
The government took control of the studios, known as the Mediterranean Film Studios, following a dispute over rental payments. The Malta Film Studios, located in Rinella, are famous for their water tanks.
The government of Malta will be looking for an investment of 15 m EUR or more. A call for investors could happen within the next few weeks.
The ministry has been actively working to build up and support the film services industry as well as the domestic industry.
