Luzzu by Alex CamilleriVALLETTA: Luzzu by Alex Camilleri has been sold by Memento International to Kino Lorber for North American distribution.
Camilleri’s debut feature has also been sold to Brazil, Indonesia and Switzerland.
The film was produced by Noruz Films, Luzzu Ltd, Pellikola and Maborosi Films, and it was supported by the Malta Film Fund and the financial incentives provided by the Malta Film Commission and the Government of Malta.
Luzzu’s main actor Jesmark Scicluna received a Special Jury Award at Sundance 2021, where the film participated in the World Cinema – Dramatic competition.
