The plot concerns a seemingly perfect marriage of two thirty-year-olds: Maria and Tomek. Both successful at their jobs, they are consumed with decorating their apartment and planning for a baby. Their love is tested when Maria reveals a shocking secret that she had been keeping from her husband.
Fabicki was praised for his feature debut Z Odzysku ( LU/PL). He co-authored the original script for Love with Marek Pruchniewski. The producer is Odeon Rybarczyk Productions (www.odeon.com.pl) in co-production with Anagram Film (www.alejagowniarzy.pl). The producer informed FNE that the budget is 3.1 million PLN ( EUR 746,000 ) with 2.5 million PLN financing from the Polish Film Institute ( www.pisf.pl).
The leading roles will be played by Marcin Dorociński and Julia Kijowska. They will be accompanied by Adam Woronowicz, Agata Kulesza, Dorota Kolak and Wojciech Mecwaldowski.
The picture will be distributed by ELIAS, a new company created by the producer of the film, Leszek Rybarczyk. The premiere of Love is planned for the second half of 2012 during a Polish or foreign film festival.
