{mosimage}Anne, a wealthy French journalist
working for ELLE magazine, seems to have everything both in her professional
and private life, but an unusual assignment to write an article about the life
of call girls changes her whole perspective of her marriage, her sexuality and
her independence. Once she meets Alicja and Charlotte, two young women who
break the stereotype of a prostitute, she is forced to reevaluate her whole set
of values.
The Polish-German-French co-production was shot in Paris and Cologne between
May and June of 2011. The film stars Juliette Binoche as Anne, Anaïs Demoustier
playing a French call girl and Joanna Kulig, a Polish actress cast as an
emigrant girl making a life for herself in Paris.
