The company’s first addition is The Art of Disappearing by Oscar-nominees Bartek Konopka and Piotr Rosołowski (Rabbit a la Berlin). The 51 minute comic documentary looks at the little-known visit of a Haitian voodoo priest to Poland in 1980, when he contacts Polish spirits and conducts a voodoo ceremony to free Poles from evil and therefore leads to the fall of communism.
“We like building relationships with talented filmmakers and producers and Anna, Bartek and Piotr are great examples of passionate and inspiring professionals that we want to accompany in their careers. It will also be interesting to add documentaries to the mix in our catalogue,” said Jan Naszewski, CEO of New Europe Film Sales.
