Loving's protagonist is Tomek, who has a seemingly perfect relationship with Maria. He is active and successful, consumed with decorating his apartment with his wife and planning their first baby. When he finds out that Maria was raped by her boss, a government official, he struggles with finding a way to face his new circumstances.

The leading roles are played by Marcin Dorociński and Julia Kijowska. "Marcin is known to play 'macho' characters," the director told FNE. "I wanted to get away from this, to show how a strong man can feel weak and powerless. There is incredible chemistry between him and Julia Kijowska. I'm glad we managed to work with it and develop it on set."

The film was shot in September and October last year in locations in Warsaw and Płock. Loving is produced by Odeon Rybarczyk Productions in co-production with Anagram Film, with a budget of 3.1 million PLN (EUR 746,000 ) including a 2.5 million PLN in financing from the Polish Film Institute.

Loving premiered in Poland on 15 March, distributed by Forum Film Poland and has been seen over 34,000 viewers to date. World sales are managed by Odeon Rybarczyk Productions.
