Sales agent New Europe Film Sales, informed FNE that the title was recently sold for regular distribution to UK (New Wave Films) and Macedonia (KT FILM & MEDIA DOOEL). The story of the first Roma female poet has been especially popular on the market this year and has already been sold to Japan (Moviola) and Germany (Kairos).
The film premiered in Poland on 15 November 2013, distributed by Next Film. It was produced by Lambros Ziotas of Argomedia sp. z o.o. in coproduction with Telewizja Polska S.A.,
Canal+ Polska, and Studio Filmowe KADR. The film picked up the numerous awards at international film festivals as well as Best Actor, Best Music and Best Make-up Awards at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
