The Warsaw Business Journal and Digital TV Research report that Poland is in fifth position for the number of pay TV subscriber households, at 10.9 million. Overall, the number of pay TV households will have doubled from 2010 to 2014.
Poland alone accounts for nearly 5 percent of all pay TV revenues in Europe, a total market of 40 billion USD.
Eastern Europe accounts for most remaining analogue TV household in Europe, some 80 percent of the total 53 million, with Russia leading the pack at over 21 million analogue households.
