WARSAW: Polish director Łukasz Palkowski ‘s Gods is set to hit UK screens today, 24 October, distributed by Project London Productions Ltd that also distributed other Polish box office hits in UK cinemas such as Andrzej Wajda’s Walesa. Man Of Hope (Akson Studio), Leszek Dawid’s You Are God (Studio Filmowe KADR) and Wladyslaw Pasikowski’s Jack Strong (Scorpio Studio).

Gods won the Golden Lions at 39. Gdynia Film Festival and premiered in Poland on 10 October 2014 distributed by Next Film opening in the number one slot on its opening weekend with 251,838 admissions. The film sold 745 000 ticktes within 10 days since it's premiere.

Gods was produced by Piotr Woźniak-Starak and Krzysztof Rak of Watchout Productions in co-production with Agora, Born To Film Productions, Digital 35, Fundacja Sztuki Filmowej Ingenium and
Orange. The film recieved 2 m PLN of production financing from the Polish Film Instititue.
