France’s Reel Suspects is the sales agent for the rest of the world.

Demon, director Marcin Wrona's adaptation of Piotr Rowiecki's play about a paranormal case of possession by a Jewish dybbuk, premièred internationally at the International Film Festival in Toronto and was presented in the Main Competition at the 40th Gdynia Film Festival.  Most recently the production won the Best Film Award at the Fantastic Fest in Texas in the Horror Features section.

The film was produced by Magnet Man Film Ltd. in coproduction with Telewizja Polska, Chimney Poland, Krakowskie Biuro Festiwalowe, Israel's Transfax FilmProductions, IF Silesia Film, Lava Films and Wajda Studio. 

The budget was 1.34 m EUR / 5.7 m PLN with approximately 660,000 EUR / 2.8 m PLN  from the Kino Świat.The film was shot in fall 2014 and stars Itay Tiran, Agnieszka Żulewska and Andrzej Grabowski.

The Polish distributor of the film is Kino Świat and the film opened in Polish cinemas on 16 October 2015.
