The festival will give the Lifetime Achievement Award to the American cinematographer Michael Chapman.

The 24th edition also announced a Norwegian Cinema Review with a retrospective of the Petter Moland–Philip Øgaard duo, an exhibition of David Cronenberg's work and a photo exhibition by Jessica Lange.

Beside the Main Competition, the Festival also contains other events such as Student Etudes Competition, Documentary Films Competition, Music Videos Competition, Feature Debutes Competition, TV Pilots Competition, Polish Films Competition, Camerimage Market, Camerimage Forum, special screenings and premieres, various reviews, retrospectives, meetings and also accompanying events such as art exhibitions and music performances.
