The award winning drama, most recently named Best Film at the 10th Netia Off Camera Film Festival, was the winner of the Gdynia Film Festival and won the Best Actor Prize at Locarno IFF.
The feature debut drama from Jan P. Matuszyński follows the life of painter Zdzisław Beksiński. It was produced by Aurum Film in coproduction with HBO Polska and Lightcraft with support from the Polish Film Institute and the Mazovia Film Fund.
Last Family opened in Polish cinemas on 30 September distributed by Kino Świat and had 210,000 admissions during the first week and 527,104 admissions in 2016. International sales are managed by New Europe Film Sales.
