Marek Koterski comes back to his favourite character of Adaś Miauczyński and revists his childhood along with seven emotions that rule the human life: fear, anger, sadness, joy, disgust, envy and shame.
The all-star cast includes the director's son Michał Koterski in the lead, accompanied by Marcin Dorociński, Maja Ostaszewska, Andrzej Chyra, Robert Więckiewicz, Katarzyna Figura and Magdalena Cielecka.
Marek Koterski is an accomplished Polish film and theater director, screenwriter and playwright. His most popular and critically acclaimed titles are Porno (Zebra film), Nothing Funny (Zebra film), Day of the Wacko (Zebra film), We're All Christs (Vision), awarded for best direction at the 2006 Gdynia Film Festival, and most recently Man, Chicks Are Just Different (KADR), which had 800,000 admissions in Poland in 2011.
He is known for his dark humour with a focus on the weaknesses of the Polish society, as well as an experimental approach to the Polish language in his dialogues.
The film was produced by Włodzimierz Niderhaus through WFDiF in coproduction with Studio Orka, with a budget of 1.8 m EUR / 7.9 m PLN and production financing from the Polish Film Institute. Shooting took place in Warsaw between May and July 2017.
The film will be released in Poland on 12 October 2018 distributed by Kino Świat.
