Mustang received the Lux Prize in 2015. This year, the Lux Prize 2016 will be announced on 23 November. The 2016 finalists are the German/Austrian/Romanian coproduction Toni Erdmann by Maren Ade (produced by Komplizen Film, coproduced by Coop99 Filmproduktion, Hi Film Productions), the French/Tunisian drama As I Open My Eyes / À peine j'ouvre les yeux by Leyla Bouzid and the Swiss animated film My Life as a Courgette / Ma vie de courgette by Claude Barras. All three of them will be screened in different cinemas in Strasbourg on 21-23 November 2016.
Mustang by Deniz Gamze ErgüvenSTRASBOURG: On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Lux Prize, the European Parliament organises a screening of Mustang by Deniz Gamze Ergüven at cinéma l'Odyssée in Strasbourg on 10 October 2016. The film will be screened simultaneously in 24 languages in the 28 countries of the EU.
