BRUSSELS: FERA, the federation of European film and TV directors, has issued a position paper calling for the MEDIA programme to refocus its sights on film and TV directors.
FERA is stressing the importance of training, individual grants for development and the introduction of a micro-budget programme.
In a statement, FERA asks the EU Commission to “strike a better balance” between the artistic components and the managerial and innovative side.
