The 11 long documentaries and 11 feature films have been chosen from among 299 submissions from 49 countries. Additionally, WEMW will invite two guest projects previously presented at the Baltic Event and DOCSP Brazil.

In 2019 WEMW will bring together more than 450 industry professionals from over 35 countries, particularly from the 2019 East &West spotlight territories: Central Eastern Europe (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and the Ukraine) and Benelux (Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands).
