The announcement was made during the Odessa International Film Festival.
The dates for the SOFA workshops are: Warsaw, 18-23 August 2019; Tbilisi, 25-30 April 2020 and Vilnius, 15-19 September 2020.
SOFA – School of Film Advancement is a joint project of Filmplus gUG (Cologne) and the Institute for Democratic Changes (Tbilisi), funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union.
The 2019 workshop in Poland is supported by the Polish Film Institute, the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation and the Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission, while the 2019 Lithuanian workshop will be funded by the Lithuanian Film Centre.
