LINZ: Hungarian director Ágnes Kocsis' drama Pal Adrienne received the Audience Award at the Crossing Europe festival (www.crossingEurope.at) closing ceremony on 16 April 2011. The film previously was the recipient of the first FNE Visegrad Prix for Best Coproduction, presented at the CinePécs IFF (www.cinepecs.hu).
Pal Adrienne was produced by Hungarian company KMH Film Productions (www.kmhfilm.com) and producer Ferenc Pusztai. The film is a Hungarian-Dutch-French-Austrian co-production.
The Crossing Europe Audience Award, presented for the first time at the 2011 festival, included a cash prize of 3,000 euros.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
