From the total in available funds, 59% will go to features, 15% to debut features, 10% each for documentaries and animated films, 5% for short fiction films and 1% for development (features, documentaries, animated films).
The maximum amount of a credit received by a producer is 10% from the direct production grants. The contest is expected to attract numerous entries, since it is the only grant call organised in 2012.
BUCHAREST: The Romanian National Center for Cinema (www.cncinema.abt.ro) will give 2,206,000 EUR (10m RON) in production and development grants in 2012. The deadline for applications is 31 January 2013.
