Adina Pintilie’s feature debut Touch Me Not, a Romanian/German/Czech/Bulgarian/French coproduction which won two awards at the Berlinale, will compete alongside Andrei Cretulescu’s Romanian/French coproduction Charleston, which premiered at Locarno. The competition also includes two Polish coproductions.
Fanny Ardant will receive the festival’s Lifetime Achievement Trophy and present a retrospective of her films. The festival will also mark the centennial of Ingmar Bergman and will present lifetime achievement awards to Istvan Szabo and Marta Meszaros.
