During the nine-day retreat the participants will develop their first or second feature-length screenplays at Port Cultural Cetate, a serene place on the Danube. They will also have the opportunity of meeting established European filmmakers who will provide feedback on their projects: Soudade Kadaan (director), Bianca Oana (producer), Laurence Coriat (screenwriter), Marie Dubas (producer) and Len Rowles (producer).

Pustnik is the first international screenwriters residency to take place in Romania. It is organised by TETA and it is co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (afcn.ro), the Romanian Cultural Institute (icr.ro) and the Romanian Filmmakers’ Union (UCIN, ucin.ro).
