BucharEST International Film Festival: 20-25 April. Guest of honour will be Russian director Andrei Konchalovsky who will be presenting a retrospective of his films.
Romanian titles in the programme line-up include Romanian director Constantin Popescu's debut feature Portrait of the Fighter as a Young Man produced by Bucharest based Filmex Film (http://This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) which had its world premier in the Berlinale Forum earlier this year. Popescu has just finished his second feature Principles of Life. Kino Caravan is the second feature directed by Titus Muntean and produced by Libra Film (www.librafilm.net) that had its international premier in Pusan IFF last year.
