MediaPro Distribution Leads Romanian Market

    BUCHAREST: The exclusive partnership between MediaPro Distribution (www.mediaprodistribution.com) and Warner Bros (www.warnerbros.com) has put the Romanian distribution company in the top spot among local distributors.

    MediaPro Distribution, the distribution company of MediaPro Entertainment (www.mediaproentertainment.com) signed a deal with Warner Bros. Pictures at the end of 2010 to distribute films in classic, digital and 3D format in the Romanian cinemas starting January 2011.

    MediaPro Distribution has a market share of 26% and is leading the market after the first quarter of 2011. MediaPro Distribution films earned 1,512,563 euro (6,216,634 RON) in the first quater of 2011. Four of the seven films distributed by MediaPro Pictures in 2011 have premiered in first place.
