Kerekesová told FNE, "The support has been a crucial step for us, not only because it helps us to cover the complicated development of a 3D animated series, but because it values the creative direction of the project. It was the second time that we applied for this support and we did it after considering advice that we got after the first unsuccesful application. After finalizing development we will be able to plan the very complicated production part of the project."

The series about a spider family whose dilemmas reflect those of any average human family won the juried prize at Anifilm festival’s TV pitching forum in Trebon in May 2014. The educational project is intended for child viewers.

The coproducers of the series are public broadcaster Radio and Television Slovakia (RTVS), Ekran s.r.o, and Studio Miniatur Filmovych. Production is scheduled to begin on October 2015 and the series will be broadcast on RTVS in 2016. The estimated budget is 213,000 EUR. The development of the film received 24,150 EUR from the Slovak Audiovisual Fund.
