Jaurová has her MA degree in theatre and worked as dramaturge on various theatre projects in Slovakia. She works as a consultant for projects connecting arts, technologies and entrepreneurship, as well as creative industries development. She also participates in cultural planning and policy development projects. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Board of Arts Council Slovakia.

Jaurova’s first feature film produced in MPhilms, Slovakia 2.0 was released in 2014. Currently she is developing several films and TV projects.

Jaurová explained to FNE why, although she did not study film producing, had she not decided to expand her activities into that field. “The idea of me becoming a film producer was born in the head of my current producing partner Mátyás Prikler, and he was stubborn enough to lure me into this adventure. I am happy he did it,” she said.

She describes her idea of the ideal producer as somebody “who can integrate alchemy and technology, who can create ideas, but also conditions for others to be creative, the one who can turn millions of creative particles into one centripetal atom.”

She doesn’t have a preference for a genre or type of film, but she works across the borders of various professional and social worlds; she generally favors the border genres in all she does.

She hopes to offer some new ideas and working style to the film industry in Slovakia. “I would also like to work more internationally and maybe strive for more of the fun factor and glamour,” Zora told FNE.

She has quite imaginative vision of her future. In five years as she hopes she will be “producing important and surprising content that will be distributed via yet unknown technologies to interested audiences.”
