Slovak middle-length student film THANKS, FINE graduation film by Mátyás Prikler, produced by the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU) is selected for the official selection of the Cinéfondation during 63. Cannes IFF.
The Cinéfondation selection forms part of the Official Selection and the selected films are presented to the Cinéfondation and Shorts Jury which awards a prize to the best three at an official ceremony. Slovak Republic participated inthe selection in 1999 with the short animation film KEĎ NIE, TAK NIE by Vlado Král (producer by VŠMU). THANKS, FINE will be presented as one of 13 selected films to be considered by the jury presided by Atom Egoyan, and composing of Emmanuelle Devos, Dinara Droukaro, Carlos Diegues and Marc Recha.
