Our Everyday Life follows a contemporary Bosnian family as it deals with illness, separation and consequences of war. Sašo, a Bosnian intellectual in his 40s feels cheated because the war ends in status quo. His father Muhamed has changed completely realizing that the family is the most important thing, but unfortunately his wife Marija who is actually the real driving force of the family is suffering from breast cancer.
The main characters are played by Uliks Fehmiu, Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Jasna Ornela Beri and Maja Izetbegović and the well-known Slovenian actor Marko Mandić is playing a supporting role.
The film is produced by Dokument Sarajevo in coproduction with Croatia's Spiritus Movens and Slovenia's Studio Maj. The project was supported by the Slovenian Film Center with 55,000 EUR and by the Croatian Audiovisual Center. Film Fund Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Culture, Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo and Eurimages are also supporting.
Our Everyday Life premiered at the 21th Sarajevo Film Festival and will be released in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Obala Art Centar in September 2015.
