LJUBLJANA: Rok Sečen represents Slovenia at the European Film Promotion’s 2018 Producers on the Move event taking place 10-14 May during the Cannes Film Festival.

Sečen worked in the Slovenian Ministry of Education and was a partner in a company specialising in accounting and financial and tax consulting before co-founding the production company Monoo with director Sonja Posenc. He produced her debut film The Tree, which was Slovenia’s candidate for the Oscar in 2016.

Sečen was a 2016 EAVE participant the with Prosenc’s History of Love, a coproduction with Italy and Norway, and MIDPOINT. He is developing Prosenc’s next film Redemption.
