Beginning a new partnership with European Short Pitch, Pustnik has selected one project from their alumni: To Everything There Is a Season, co-written by Kate Voet & Nadja Dumouchel from Belgium/Germany/France. Both organisations are dedicated to developing the works of promising early-career filmmakers.
Hosted for the first time at Enisala Safari Village, the residents will work on their screenplays while getting insight and guidance from internationally acclaimed guest consultants. The venue overlooks the Enisala fortress, a Medieval citadel built during the Byzantine reign in the Dobrogea region. Also named Heracleea, the archaeological complex is of great importance preserving many remains from the Neolithic Age.
Maintaining its commitment to the local community, Pustnik and its alumni will also host free filmmaking workshops for local youth. Further details about the writers and their projects will be available at pustnik.com closer to the residency dates.
