TALLINN: Finnish director Klaus Harö is shooting The Fencer (Vehkleja), planned to premiere in spring 2015, in Estonia.

ZAGREB: The new feature from the hit series opened with Koko and the Ghosts in 2011 written and directed again by Daniel Kušan will begin filming on 15 March 2014 and is set for opening on 27 November 2014.

ZAGREB: Spomenko Karić’s travelogue Aurora Borealis will cover his 30 day trip from Croatia to Scandinavia aiming to gather the largest collection of photos of people in the world.

BUCHAREST: Independent filmmaker Dan Chişu is in the color correction and sound editing stage with a 110 minute documentary investigating the fascination with social media through the story of Bahoi, an unusual character who created the TV station on Youtube, Bahoi TV.

ZAGREB: The Ministry of Love , a dramatic comedy from Bucharest-based Croatian filmmaker Pavo Marinković (Love Life of a Gentle Coward, Tressette–a Story of an Island) is in development with plans to begin filming in May 2015.

LJUBLJANA: Slovenian hit film director Marko Naberšnik is finishing work on The Woods Are Still Green, an anti-war drama set during WWI. The Austrian-Slovenian coproduction shot in extreme weather conditions in only 18 days.

WARSAW: Renowned documentary filmmakers Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud are filming Les Saisons in Puszcza Białowieska.

BUDAPEST: European Film Award winner György Pálfi (Hukkle, Taxidermia, Final Cut) is already in production with Free Fall, a film that originated from a concept in November 2013.

BUCHAREST: The winner of the Special Mention at the 2012 edition of ScripTeast will be financed by French producers with shooting scheduled for fall 2014.

ESTONIA: The epic war drama 1944, now halfway through a two-part filming schedule, is primed to continue a tradition of a strong box-office for patriotic war films in Estonia.
