PLZEN: The Slovak/Czech coproduction The Teacher / Učitelka, written by Petr Jarchovský and directed by Jan Hřebejk, which premiered at this year´s Karlovy Vary IFF, screened in the main competition of the 30th Finale Plzen.
PRAGUE: Karel Vachek, the head of the documentary department at FAMU and one of the most original Czech filmmakers known for his experimental, enormously lengthy film essays, is shooting the decades-leaping documentary Communism.
