Mikael Persbrandt and Malin Buska to star in Kõusaar’s new production “Nordic Instinct”

Festivals 24-11-2014One of the grand masters of Polish cinema Zanussi presents his latest feature “The Foreign Body” at a red carpet screening tonight as part of special focus on Polish cinema. Persbrandt, most recently known for the “Hobbit” presents Cannes-premiered “The Salvation” and “Someone You Love” at the Black Nights Panorama.

One of the best-known Polish film directors Krzysztof Zanussi arrives in Tallinn today. Zanussi acclaimed international fame with his first full-length features “Struktura krysztalu” (1969) and “Family Life” (1971). Tonight he will present his latest “The Foreign Body” (2014) at a red carpet special screening at the Black Nights Film festival. “The Foreign Body” premiered at this year’s Toronto film festival.
Mikael Persbrandt’s international career kicked off with the foreign language Oscar winning film by Susanne Bier “In a Better World” (2010) that also won him the title of best actor at the Black Nights.
TBILISI: The 15th Tbilisi International Film Festival will open on 1 December 2014 with The President shot in Georgia by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, who will present the film.
