SKOPJE: Agent 203 is the first 3D-animated series created and directed by Damjan Mitrevski of the Macedonian studio V House Animation. The German/Italian/Macedonia/Indian coproduction is currently in production and expected to premiere in 2023.

SKOPJE: Admissions to domestic films in North Macedonia declined drastically from 24,138 in 2020 to 2,652 in 2021, even though almost the same number of films were released in cinemas, 23 in 2020 and 21 in 2021.

SKOPJE: The British distributor Videoplugger has picked up the popular Macedonian children’s animated series Bibi’s World / Svetotna Bibi, aimed at 4-6-year-olds.

SKOPJE: Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojcevska, MP, Doctor of Science, former Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy in Bitola, has been appointed as Minister of Culture of North Macedonia by the Parliament. She had been nominated by the new Macedonian PM Dimitar Kovacevski.

SKOPJE: The North Macedonia Film Agency distributed 821,950 EUR / 50.5 m MKD in production grants for feature, short, and documentary films within the second grant call of 2021.
