MESTIA: Bestia by Chilean director Hugo Cocarrubias was awarded the Goddess Dali main prize at the second edition of the Svaneti International Film Festival, organised by director Mariam Khatchvani and Teimuraz Chkhvimiani. The festival took place in person in Mestia 10 - 16 July 2022.

PRAGUE: Czech director/writer Zdeněk Jiráský is currently in postproduction with his feature film I Don’t Love You Anymore / Už tě nemám rád, a Czech/Slovak/Romanian coproduction about two kids on the run to adulthood. The project participated in First Cut Lab at KVIFF 2022.

TBILISI: Representatives of six Georgian film production companies met six leading global companies in Hollywood as part of the Film in Georgia programme. They also took part in the American Producers’ Guild (PGA)’s Produced By Conference.

KARLOVY VARY: Czech director/writer Veronika Lišková is currently in postproduction with her long documentary, the Czech/Norwegian/Slovak coproduction The Visitors. The film received a Special mention at the Works in Progress - Eastern Promises industry platform within the 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and it was selected for the 75th edition of the Locarno Film Festival (3 – 13 August 2022) in the Semaine de la Critique section.

The film participated in the Eastern Promises – Works in Progress within the 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (1 – 9 July 2022).

MESTIA: A total of 20 titles have been selected for the short film competition of the second edition of the Georgian Svaneti International Film Festival, which will take place in person in Mestia 10 - 16 July 2022. Eight long projects have been selected for the industry programme platform.
