WARSAW: Writer/director/producer Jan Jakub Kolski is working on a new drama, the Polish/Czech coproduction Pardon. Shooting is planned for autumn of 2017.
WARSAW: Polish Film Institute chose nine new feature films to support in the 2nd funding session of 2017, including new projects by Maciej Pieprzyca, Jan Komasa, Dariusz Gajewski and Jacek Borcuch.

Poland 13-07-2017WARSAW: TV series 18 - Clash of Futures, an international coproduction involving over 15 broadcasters, wrapped shooting in July 2017. The series follows the fates of extraordinary men, women and children from France, Germany, Italy, UK, Austria, Sweden, Poland and the Soviet Union in the dramatic era of the 1920s and '30s, using their own diary entries, letters and memoirs. This is the first international TV series production for Wajda Studio.
WARSAW: Acclaimed young Polish director Michał Rogalski has just finished shooting his new feature film Exterminator, a comedy based on a hit theater play. The premiere is planned for January 2018.

WARSAW: Tomasz Wasilewski’s drama United States of Love, awarded the Silver Bear for Best Script at the 2016 Berlinale, will premiere in Spain on 7 July 2017 distributed by Golem Distribucion.
WARSAW: Polish public broadcaster TVP has selected five shows on the topic of religion to move into production in 2017.
WARSAW: Andrzej Wajda's last production, the biopic drama Afterimage, will premiere in Spain on 30 June 2017 distributed by A Contracorriente Films. The film was already sold to Canada, USA, France, Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria and Japan.
